@LucyLovettLestrange I love classical music so much, too!
i love how he is proud that a girl saved his life!!
I love the sky in the background! What beautiful scenery!
@TheGuitarchick123 High Five my friend! I love classical music myself! It’s really good for the mind! It really soothes the soul! Who agrees with me on that?
Now this is real music
This is really an elegant ballet. In America we have a channel called “ovation” and last year during Christmas (2010) they had “The Battle of the Nutcracker Ballet” and they had versions of the ballet from all over the world ( America, France Germany, Russia, and England) and you could vote to see which version won and this version did! I think this is the most beautiful version. The English did a really good job!
@preppygurl428 Would have been better sounding with out it. Agreed
oh my god this part is so glamorous
@McFlyLover92 I agree! Does this part remind you of Heaven? I love the Nutcracker Ballet myself! I’ve boughten the book of which it was based on, and have two different picture books of the ballet version. ( the book is actually German) A man named Ernst Hoffan wrote it. Also second story based on the book was written by Alexandre Dumas of 3 Musketeer fame) High five on enjoying the nutcracker ballet! I think that this version is the most elegant and beautiful of all!
am i the only one wondering wat the heck that sound is at :27???? sounds like a friggin cymbol but its ruining the whole thing!
this is an awful thing for me to say but… the Spanish men remind me of Matthew Patel in Scott Pilgrim…
not a good version of the spanish dance… the men look like gay pirates and the women look culturally confused
@jknoll2002 Valeri Hristov is not on that one. Steven Macrae plays the role in that production.
@r0g3r5m1th There were two versions with Iohna Loots and Ricardo Cervera – this one, with Alexandra Ansanelli as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and the one which has been issued on DVD and is being shown as I type this on Ovation TV. That one has Yoshida as the Sugar Plum Fairy – which means that she appears on 3 DVD’s of “The Nutcracker”, two with the Royal Ballet , and one with the Birmingham Royal Ballet.
@jknoll2002 ,sorry to say I have hit a snag,I can only find it on Amazon with Miyako Yoshida not with Alexandra Ansenelli and Valeri Hristov,I already have the Yoshida version so it looks impossible to obtain the required one.
@sashakeft1 yup she did she make it well she do not even blink!
did someone noticed that sugarplum fairy had a bad step almost fall on stage :S 3:04?
@jknoll2002 , well spotted,I don’t know where I’ve been looking, but should hvae” gone to specsavers”.This will be added to my list (again) and I shall get it early in the New Year as I am at this moment awaiting delivery of two Ballets, namely “illusions like Swan Lake and The Rakes Progress”ironically the Latter is being shipped to me from the USofA.
@r0g3r5m1th actually amazon does have it. Just search “nutcracker royal ballet” and you should find it. It’s only about $20
This is a picture of heaven like it is awaiting every righteous person believing jesus. For he said according to tradition : “…whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them and you will have them.” (Mark 11.24) But I am glad and believe we have it only once: when going to the nutcracker ballet !
VALERI IS SUPER HOT GAHHHHHH
Love this production, it is incredible!
@McFlyLover92 I would be exactly the same!
wht are the red. are they angels
I would’ve done anything to be there live.. I think I would cry my eyes out.. (maybe not to this moment) but I love the nutcracker story so much.. and ballet is just so beautiful
i think she did slip or trip slightly…
